NSCAD Textiles and Fashion

NSCAD's Textile and Fashion Department Present Runaway: Two fashion shows that show two very different kinds of wearable.

6:30pm Fashion Show:NSCAD's Textile/Fashion Department's Intermediate and Advanced Fashion classes and special guests showcase their unique and individual lines, featuring handmade textiles and unique garments. All the work shown is hand made by up-and-coming student designers, including ready to wear and couture type designs.

8:30pm Wearable Art Show: NSCAD's Wearable Art Show is not your traditional fashion show. Mixed media and performance should be expected. Sculptural and experimental forms on the body make for an exciting show, with all proceeds going to AIDS Collation NS and awards for participating students.

This is a wet/dry event, all ages are welcome. Doors for the first show open at 6pm!
